Portfolios
Student
Portfolios are just one way we communicate student achievement to parents
and caregivers. We believe this is important because:
- Samples
of work will show a student's performance against SACSAF outcomes.
- Samples
of work will show student progress over time.
- Samples
of work collected can help identify students that require support
in particular learning areas.
- Samples
of work collected can confirm that a student has understood a particular
concept.
- Samples
of work collected can provide information about a student which the
next teacher or school can use.
- Samples
of work can be part of celebrating success with a student.
All samples
of work will be annotated by teachers indicating objectives and outcomes.

will be collected for Learning Portfolios as follows:

Additional
Samples of work and assessments can also be included in the portfolio.
These include:
- Standardised
spelling, reading and numeracy test results with yearly comparisons.
- References
to the Multiple Intelligences in portfolio samples and MI student
questionnaire results (Twice Yearly)
- Detailed
attainment reports on all curriculum areas. (Mid Yearl and End of
Year).
- Social
Skills Evaluations (Twice Yearly).
- Awards/photos
